The story of Kallos

A woman receiving a facial acupuncture from Mariah Sayer in a treatment room in London.

My path began in beauty and movement — first as a beauty therapist, then through years devoted to wellness, alignment, and the language of dance. Curiosity, strength, and a quiet pursuit of balance have always shaped my work.

I later spent more than a decade in film, surrounded by luxury and artistic detail. These experiences refined my eye for aesthetics and deepened my understanding of presence and poise.

Alongside this, I faced my own challenges with hormonal imbalance, skin concerns, and the long process of topical steroid withdrawal. Disillusioned by conventional medicine’s focus on symptoms, I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine — a philosophy that recognises and treats the whole person. This search led me to cosmetic acupuncture, a practice that enhances radiance from within through precise treatments, supported by a balanced diet and lifestyle.

At Kallos, I unite techniques with grounding practices informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine, connecting body and mind, softening signs of stress, and revealing subtle, natural results.

The aesthetic of Kallos is rooted in a lifelong study of form and stillness — shaped by years in design and creative collaboration. This sensitivity to detail continues to guide the atmosphere I create: where treatment becomes intentional, and care becomes art.
