The Story Behind Kallos

The Founder | Mariah Sayer

My journey began in beauty and movement — first as a Beauty Therapist, then through years immersed in wellness, physical alignment, and the expressive language of dance. Curiosity, grace, strength, and a deep commitment to inner vitality have always shaped my path.

I later spent over a decade in the film industry, surrounded by quiet luxury and artistic detail — experiences that refined my eye for visual aesthetics and deepened my understanding of presence and poise.

Alongside this, I faced my own challenges with hormonal imbalances, persistent skin concerns, and a prolonged experience of topical steroid withdrawal. Disillusioned by conventional medicine’s symptom-focused approach, I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine in search of something deeper — a philosophy that recognises and treats the whole person, not just isolated symptoms. That search ultimately led me to Cosmetic Acupuncture: a practice where health, beauty, and balance converge.

At Kallos, I bring together precise techniques and grounding rituals — helping you soften signs of stress, reconnect with your body, and restore your natural radiance. Each treatment is a considered pause, where care is felt, beauty is revealed, and your wellbeing is supported — gracefully, and on your own terms.
